Holland Perishable Center

Holland Perishable Center (HPC) is a freight handling station at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol (The Netherlands). This station is situated at the airport's apron. After unloading the aircraft, cargo is taken straight to this perishable centre for processing or transfer to 2nd-line warehouses.

HPC has a 4500m2 warehouse which is fully temperature-controlled, with 2 cold stores and a vacuum cooler. We also use rollerbed conveyor systems and bulk-breaking lifts to render the bulk-breaking process as efficient as possible. There is also a phytosanitary inspection point for import or export inspections. HPC primarily focuses on dealing with perishables such as flowers, fruit and vegetables and pharmaceutical products.

Holland Perishable Center can provide the following services:

  • Bulk-breaking
  • Transfers to 2nd-line warehouses (also by means of DGVS)
  • Phytosanitary inspections
  • Vacuum cooling
  • Temporary cold storage
  • Temporary freeze storage (upon request)
